S.O.S for DVD's ....!

What the fuck, eh? Nothing ventured, nothing gained. And we have a situation here!

Fact is; Once a week I go down to Dean O's. It's the one time I get the fuck out of here. Away from this screen ~ this room ~ and 'socialise'. I get to talk to someone who can talk back. Have a few beers, in company. Watch a couple of films. It really is the highlight of my entire week.

Or, it has been. Till the fucking 'video shop' shut down! :o

Yeppers. 'The' video shop. We only ever had one. Never was the best of them either. But, we generally managed to scrape through, between that and our own, small personal collections of films. Two films a week has been our staple diet for about a year now. Now we're fucked.

I've been asking around. I've checked out the Irish 'On Line DVD Rental' outfit ~ They sound like a shower of shit. I'm on page 126 of Amazon, DVD's for a fiver or less. My " Wish List " now features about ten films. But, with their hellish postage rates into Eire? It'd be hell on the budget. I'd often be paying more on post than I would on a 'watch once' film.

So, in desperation ..... Anyone got any stuff we could watch, please? Deal is that I'll pay ye postage, to get shit out here. I'll then send it back after we've watched it. Simple as that, really. I'm on the scrounge for some films. I have no pride! LMAO! I'm fuckin' desperate!

I guess we'd watch just about anything that we could get our hands on too. War / Action / Thriller / Horror is probably our main stay. But, ye have to realise that I haven't been near a cinema in decades. I've also personally seen few enough of the usual films people have seen, simply because I never really got into watching films since the days of VHS. I haven't even seen " Dances With Wolves " yet! How fucked up is that?
