Dogs Feet .....

 How the fuck do they do that? 

Look; You and I, generally speaking, go about on two feet. Each one swinging forward, one after the other. Right? And, if we know what's good for us, we tend to use our eyes, as we walk, to spot stuff in our intended path.

Then, we see Dog shit. What do we do? We alter the length and left or right aspect of our now leading foots stride. Thus planting that foot to either side, before or after that shit. We aim that foot anywhere but into that shit.

 That done, of course, the other foot simply swings past the first foot and is pretty much guaranteed to come down beyond the shit. Job done. Jobbie avoided. All is good in the world.

 But, what about Dogs though? How do They pull this shit off, with four legs and a head stuck on the front of their truncated body's? Clever fuckers!

 I've just had a piss, see? I went out there, into the compound, and had a piss. Orange Dog was out there and I pissed on the ground between her and the door.

 Along she's come, having decided it was time she came indoors now, and walked towards my piss. And I watched her. She walked straight towards this snaking stream and I thought to myself ~ might even have said out loud? I don't know; " Don't go walking in that piss now, Sausage. "

 And she didn't. Dogs are no more given to stepping in such things than we are. But, how the hell did she Do that?!

 Her eyes are on the front of her face. That's on the front of her head, obviously. And That's on the front of her body. So, she saw the piss before she got to it.

 Having seen it, she too would have adjusted her own stride so that her lead moving foot missed it. Just like you or I would. Her face thus projected forward over and across the piss, which then would have gone out of her sight, behind.

 Then, over a foot of body will have been carried over and across the piss. Then her Back feet missed it too!!! And she wasn't looking back, under her own body. And Dogs do this all the time! How clever's that?

 Want to know how clever? Get a hard floor. Put a Lego brick, or an up turned three pin plug on it. Then get down on all fours and start crawling over and across that thing, without looking down underneath yeself. 

 Fucking soon find out how clever a Dog is then ....!
