I really enjoyed a bottle of " Staropramen " along with my weekly kebab ~ Large, plain, dona; Just the meat, please ~ down at Dean O's Health Hazard this week.
Picked it up in a conveni' shop, in town. It must be said, they had a much better range of cans and bottles than the EuroSpar, which tends to feature the most run of the mill stuff.
I actually bought a few different 'Lager' type beers. But, this is the one I thought I'd mention to those of ye who may just like sampling the odd 'new' thing. And who perhaps have access to the larger supermarkets, where a huge selection of beers are ~ I'm given to understand ~ these days de rigour.

It's a 5.0% vol 'Premium Beer'. Czechoslovakian. We'd just call it a pilsner lager, I s'pose. Either way; I used to enjoy the odd " Skol Special ", back in the day.
A drink I'd happily compare to " The washings out of a guinea pigs hutch ", in smell and, partially, in taste too. But, I enjoyed it. Been looking for it for years now. Don't see it here.
This Staropramen's ok though. Considering I habitually drink stout, at home and in pubs? This is something I'll be grabbing next weekend, along with my kebab.
