What's up with this mad, crazy nut case of a Dog? He sleeps on the foot of my bed, every night. He's so sharp that he seems to move off, even before I wake up needing a piss, thus his weight off my feet.
When I'm finally ready to shift my ageing carcass from the mattress? He's already on his toes. Ready to bounce about, knowing it's Out Time and relishing it. Can't fault the fucking Dog in these respects.
Only; Why does he feel the need to wear my clothes?! He's always doing it! Look at this. Today, I got out of bed and got my basic gear on. Down to my boots. Tied them up and stood up ..... le Ding! For Fuck Sake ....!
I only intended to let them out for a piss and sort their heads out, before I had a cup of tea.
But, no; In the moments before I turned round, le Ding had decided it was warm out there. So, he'd wear Dad's light weight, multi pocketed 'vest' today.
In fact, he was so tightly into it that I was actually reaching for the scissors, to cut the damn thing off of him, when he decided it was So warm he'd stay naked anyway. And stepped out of it. I'll never know how he managed that either.

ReplyDeletethats great! He is a real charachter. Incidentally I wear a similar vest like that now in the summer. Its too warm for shirts and coats and I need something lightweight to put things in while I am out and about. A t-shirt and a vest does the job ;)
