The Cows Laying Down .....


Gloriously sunny day, today. Glad to be alive sort of weather. Swallows darting. Cuckoo calling. Lovely.

As I walked the Dogs up the track though I straight away noticed; The newly released cattle on Pat's ground were laying down.

Beautiful the weather may have been. But, cows laying down? I recognised at once what that meant. As any seasoned, old countryman would .....









Their legs were tired!
